The organic grey sea salt used in this product is harvested by hand from the island of Noirmoutier near Brittany, France . It is light grey in color and undergoes no refinement after harvesting. This makes for a pure sea salt which retains all of its essential nutrients and minerals. Because of this purity, this salt is 100% organic and ABF certified (Agriculture Biologique Francaise)

The virgin jojoba base oil (Simmondsia chinensis) used in our salt scrub comes from a plant native to the Sonoran Desert of northwestern Mexico and to neighboring regions of Arizona and southern California. It is a pure virgin jojoba oil that has been neither refined nor treated. Some of the interesting facts about jojoba oil is that it is actually a wax. Since it is a wax, jojoba is very stable and gives our salt scrubs a naturally long shelf life. This wax is a liquid at room temperature and is extremely similar to our body's own natural sebum. In turn, jojoba oil has wonderful skin-feel properties and will not clog skin pores. It is also non-toxic, biodegradable, and resistant to rancidity.

Only the purest essential oils are used in our salt scrubs. Whenever possible, we use 100% organic essential oils. Each aromatherapy blend was designed to please the olfactory senses and recharge the mind.
